Whenever people have been asking us "how's your summer going?" we're always like "it's...weird. But good?". While August always has a little bit of a split personality vibe (wait, didn't summer *just* start but hold up now, is that HALLOWEEN CANDY I spy!?) this August in particular has us feeling of multiple minds about...everything.
This easy peasy hot-weather sip tastes exactly like summer should: fresh, bracing, juicy, a little sweet, and extra-hydrating. Right on time for cheersing.
The early darkness. The unexpected flurries. The stunning architecture of strength revealed when summer's trees finally slip out of their party clothes and let their guards down. As the season winds down to its deepest primal essences (much like the rich, hearty broths we try and keep bubbling on the stove), so do we.
It's simple: we're all at home, let's make it good....with some sweet-tart springtime in a bottle!
When the wind begins to bluster, the windowpanes awake silvered with frost, and the blazing gilded light of sundown mellows into the blue-gray of twilight just a tad earlier and earlier little by little until BAM all of a sudden IT'S STONE COLD DARK AT 4:30... This, dear ones, is just the time that we can reliably expect an onset of the crud.
