Hello there! We are so excited to hear from perspective artists and vendors for The Foundry Home Goods! We thought it might be helpful to share a little insight into our process and answer some FAQs here. What are we looking for?
The Foundry Home Goods values well made goods from well made humans. You should start by introducing yourself, sharing visual resources and price lists. If you can, we're always curious about the details. We want to know how you harvested the wood, where the flax was grown, if the paint is toxic, where your workshop is located, how well your employees are treated, and all about your design process and inspiration. We also want to know what it's like to work with you, how long orders take to be made, if your designs or colors change seasonally, and which are your most popular products.
What's our timeline?
We always accept submissions from artists and vendors. We love hearing from you! However we're a small (but mighty) team and it can take us quite a while to review submissions. If you haven't heard from us, it might mean we're behind on reviewing submissions or that your products aren't a good fit for us at this time. But we will keep your information handy and reach out with questions if any arise.
Want to send samples?
Having samples of wood finishes, fabric swatches, paper stock, and other details are invaluable. Nothing better than touching the real thing! Any consumable or personal care items are taken for a test drive before we select items to carry. Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to return any samples from artists or vendors.
