UPDATE: We have been so moved by our community this week. However, we are pausing to make certain that conversations and space across all media are held for black communities and activist leaders. We are asking everyone in our community (that's you!) to stay engaged. Keep learning, keep listening, keep helping, keep donating.

Every time you've shopped with The Foundry, you've made a thoughtful choice of who to support with your dollars. Do that now by giving directly. Do the work and educate yourself on where your money and effort can have the biggest impact. We are so proud of our tradition of charitable giving, but giving directly to organizations will make your dollars go even further.

Our staff is still primarily working from home during COVID-19 but always do our best to respond quickly. We are working to catch up on shipping orders this week but expect a few days delay. Dear Foundry Friends & Family,

Hello from Minneapolis. Our hearts are broken. Your hearts are broken. The system is broken. The Foundry is here in our support for our community of neighbors, families, activists, organizers, and local businesses. We are sending love to the family of George Floyd and every single person affected by this violence. Love is necessary. But love is not enough.

This weekend, 100% of proceeds from all Foundry orders will be donated to the ACLU.

Racism and violence against black and brown people is not a new problem. We're not on the front lines. But we can still help. So can you. 

If you need beeswax, tiny wooden animals, or anything else from The Foundry*, we will proudly include your purchase in our donation. If you don't need anything, don't buy anything. Instead, consider donating directly.
