This graceful, sturdy, serviceable carrying caddy is so darn lovely and useful in so many different household schlepping situations that we feel like a cross between Mary Poppins and Bob Vila whenever we break it out. Inspired by old-fashioned shoe-shine boxes, this trug is obviously ideal for corralling cleaning supplies under the sink (or wherever you like to corral them) it's also a wonder for kiddoes art supplies, for transporting dinner necessaries when dining al fresco, for corralling towels and TP in the bathroom, for keeping tools/screws/sundries at hand when tackling small projects away from the workroom, or for taming the piles of paper/work that accumulate in entryways and on desks.
