Hip, Hip, Hippo Hooray! This ingenious barrel-bodied steed is the perfect size and shape for little ones looking to take a self-guided jungle cruise. Hand-made in Poland from sustainably sourced local hardwoods (finished with natural, non-toxic paints and stains) and sturdy-yet-light ultra-thick cardboard tubing, the design is deceptively ingenious. Cutting weight in the body by using kraft paperboard and adding a smooth rounded handle makes this light and easy enough for most kiddoes to lift and maneuver themselves, the cylindrical body makes it a cinch for little legs to get up and over (while also stifling the impulse to stand on it), and the friendly little tail ridge keeps riders from slipping off the back. Four pivoting wheels give this a wonderful combination of maneuverability and stability-perfect for little ones who feel the need for speed but don't quite have the whole "balance" thing down quite yet. As an added bonus, the rump twists off by the tail and reveals a "hidden" storage zone, the perfect place to stash your hippo treats.
