The iconic Tsubame Notebook was first introduced over 70 years ago and has become a classic staple of well-appointed desks in Japan. Sturdy, easy to use, and a pleasure to write on, these simple, straightforward stitch-bound notebooks are like the humble composition book's worldly, well-traveled best friend. We love the feel of the rich, absorbent, acid-free, smudge-proof paper, a Japanese iteration of foolscap writing paper imported from Britain. It's lightweight but substantial, and a pleasure for pen or pencil. The gridded paper is hand-lined by Machinist Iguchi Hiroshi in Tokyo. Standard A4 size (210 ÌÑ 297 mm or 8.27" ÌÑ 11.69").
