Based in the tiny lakeside village of Guster, Goki has grown from a two man operation to be both one of the most renowned makers of wooden toys world-wide. Figures are hand-carved from sustainably timbered German beech and maple hardwoods and hand-painted with kiddo-safe non-toxic watercolor paints (and finished with a water-based sealant to withstand the most vigorous mouthings). While the appeal of these classic, timeless toys for little hands and growing minds is obvious, we've occasionally spotted these workhorse playthings in the realm of grown-ups, right at home presiding over very adult spaces such as work desks or artist studios.
