For those of us who love the feel of a classic Ticonderoga but want a little more functionality, these wooden pencils are the ultimate compromise. This uses a thicker style lead than your average mechanical pencil (like your leads sharp? Ohto also makes a special lead-only sharpener just for this!). Lead and erasers are both infinitely replaceable. Leave it to the Japanese.
