About The Line: Designed and lovingly hand-crafted to last for generations of creative play and world-building, the imaginative menageries from German toymaker Holztiger spark joy in humans of all ages. Based in the tiny lakeside village of Guster, Holztiger figures are hand-carved from sustainably timbered German beech and maple hardwoods and hand-painted with kiddo-safe non-toxic watercolor paints (and finished with a water-based sealant to withstand the most vigorous mouthings). While the appeal of these classic, timeless toys for little hands and growing minds is obvious, we've occasionally spotted a carved wooden friend in the realm of grown-ups, right at home presiding over very adult spaces such as work desks or artist studios.
These heirloom-caliber toys are meant to be loved and played with for years. To limit waste, we forgo including collector's authentication tags, but each piece is certified via the Holztiger maker's mark on foot/hoof/talon/paw etc.
