Burning longer, cleaner, and more evenly than paraffin candles, with a soft light coming from the round, white flame, and giving off the intoxicating golden-sweet smell of honey, these additive-free candles have a cult following at The Foundry. Set of 4 individual 12" tapers, will fit most standard taper candleholders, we find warming the base of each candle in your palm before setting it allows for a perfect fit.
Handmade from 100% pure beeswax with a cotton wick. All-natural colors will vary depending on what's blooming in the beeyard.

The way that the Dutch artisans at Dipam have been making beeswax candles for 40 years is ALSO a great triumph of collective support and mutually beneficial sustainable labor practices. Founder, beekeeper, and organizer for the natural beekeeping trust Jos Willemse started Dipam-named by a Tibetan monk, meaning "light that cannot go out"-to provide work experience placements to people who have been out of work for various reasons (some for lengthy periods of time). Dipam also partners with institutes for disabled people, who perform meaningful tasks in the workshop and warehouse.
