Every Friday The Foundry Home Goods contributes 5% of our total sales to a different community-nominated small-and-mighty cause. In honor of Pride Month, all of our Foundry Giving Friday recipients for the month of June will be honoring the good work of LGBTQIA+ focused organizations... next up: The Trevor Project.

The Trevor Project is a national nonprofit organization focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth. LGBTQ young people are four times more likely to attempt suicide, and suicide remains the second leading cause of death among all young people in the U.S. Providing a network of real-time support (via chat, text, call, or email) their trained counselors connect with LGBTQ young people 24/7, 365 days a year.

Through crisis services, peer support, research, public education, and advocacy, The Trevor Project works both on the individual and community levels to ensure that more precious humans stay safe and know they are loved.
