Every Friday The Foundry Home Goods donates 5% of our total sales to a different community-nominated small-and-mighty cause. This Friday's Foundry Giving Friday recipient? Green Garden Bakery!

Green Garden Bakery is an award-winning youth-run business selling vegetable-based desserts (!) to the Minneapolis community. Run by young entrepreneurs from Heritage Park - North Minneapolis, Green Garden Bakery grows vegetables in their community garden, bakes them into healthy vegetable-based desserts for every diet (vegan, gluten free, sugar free oh la la), and markets them using sustainable practices. They use a "pay-what-you-want/can" model and donate their proceeds back into the community.

We are pleased and proud to support this delicious, nourishing work, this Giving Friday and always. If you don't need anything from us, consider donating to Green Garden Bakery directly (or order some delicious baked goodies to give and get back!). Right now they are currently raising funds for a community kitchen and walk-in bakery to serve the Green Garden Bakery community.
