Every Friday The Foundry Home Goods donates 5% of our total sales to a different community-nominated small-and-mighty cause. This Friday's Foundry Giving Friday recipient? Family Tree Clinic!

Family Tree Clinic is a Twin-Cities-based non-profit clinic dedicated to cultivating a healthy community through comprehensive sexual health care and education. Healthcare is a basic human right and those who would deny comprehensive healthcare to the most vulnerable populations also seek to aggressively limit access to and weaponize reproductive and sexual healthcare above all other forms.

While Family Tree Clinic provides essential care and complete, accurate, factual, and developmentally appropriate information on human sexuality (on everything from puberty to abstinence to contraception and pleasure) specifically to uninsured, underinsured, working poor, high-risk, and vulnerable populations, their services are designed for everyone. In fact, those with health insurance or who can pay out of pocket are encouraged to also use Family Tree Clinic because a) it's awesome and b) "standard" payments help offset costs, making it possible for those who need it to use the Clinic's "sliding scale" payment—which prices coverage based on what the patient can pay). Family Tree Clinic also provides an amazing array of specialized, respectful, compassionate care for LGBTQ individuals and limited primary care services (like a Doc-in-a-Box but better) for those in need.

Everyone is entitled to high-quality health care. Everyone.
