Every Friday The Foundry Home Goods donates 5% of our total sales to a different community-nominated small-and-mighty cause. This Friday's Foundry Giving Friday recipient? Slingshot Memphis!

Slingshot Memphis is a non-profit partnership working to alleviate poverty in the Mid-South (take a left at Nicollet Island and float until you see the pyramid).

Poverty is a multi-level issue. Housing, job security, education, representation, systemic racism...it's all tied together. Slingshot Memphis works in tandem with an arsenal of non-profits all doing the good work on the ground in Memphis. Using its background in data, consulting, and investing, Slingshot directs additional resources toward solutions with the greatest impact—the net change that a given intervention or program creates in a person's life—to alleviate poverty across the board.
