Named for their so-called “bad dogs,” Bad Dogs Studio is a brother-sister duo out of Portland, Oregon who specialize in chunky handmade ceramics in a variety of styles, shapes, glazes, and uses. This candlestick is the perfect addition to your romantic dinner tablescape, elevating your meal into something right out of a Jane Austen novel. Each candlestick is thrown on the wheel, and the bases are solid, adding extra weight to make them a steady holder for your taper candles.
This candle holder is designed to fit a standard 7/8" taper candle, with the opening measuring just under 1 in diameter. Due to the variability in size of taper candles by brand or wax type, occasionally a little finagling is required to get the perfect fit. We like to melt the end of the candle a bit as needed.
