A dreamy small saucepan for your (extremely photogenic) cookery needs. At just over 1 quart, with a sweet little pour spout, this enamel-coated-steel pan is a lovely addition to any kitchen (or a workhorse in small apartment scenarios). While this will warm up milk like a pro, it's also a sweet size for reducing sauces, boiling eggs, melting or clarifying butter, reconstituting dried chiles or mushrooms, or making simple syrup for cocktails (among myriad other uses). Suitable for all heat sources, including induction ranges. In addition to being quite pretty, the long maple handle also requires no hot mitt. 5" x 3/14" (10 3/4" including handle)
The enamel coating requires a bit of TLC: store dry, heat over low flame to avoid scorching the handle, don't drop it (duh), and hand wash, please. Occasionally oil the maple handle with your preferred wood conditioner (we swear by Old Mill's All Natural Beeswax and Mineral Oil Wood Polish, available right here at The Foundry), being sure to allow enough time for the wood to absorb the oil before its next use.

This process makes it easy to clean, rust-averse, safe to use in the oven, dishwasher, or freezer, and long lasting. There's a reason your grandmother still has hers. : | This process makes it easy to clean, rust-averse, safe to use in the oven, dishwasher, or freezer, and long lasting. - Like many centuries-old techniques, the hand-dipped coating + hand-painted details can present subtle variations in each piece. We think they're charming, and, never fear, these "imperfections" won't affect use.: | Like many centuries-old techniques, the hand-dipped coating + hand-painted details can present subtle variations in each piece.
