The timeless design of this lidded larder crock is based on traditional French ironstone preserving jars, with straight sides, elegant concave lip, and sweet demilune handle on the lid. These crocks come in a variety of sizes (and look wonderful all together). This small size (5" x 3 3/4") is ideal for pinenuts, Irish oats, or dried mushrooms yearning to become shitake dashi broth.
Made of dreamy, creamy, tough-as-nails pure white stoneware with a clear glaze (the luminous white is the color of the clay itself) this is truly classic. Essentially an identical match to our other white porcelain lines (hi, John Julian and Ginny Sims). Isn't it nice when dishes play well with others?
