So long old sponge, there's a new perfect scrubber in town. Individually crafted in Sweden from natural horsehair fibers and pretty, pale raw beech wood, this brush is practically begging you to throw a dinner party. The delicately fluted turned-wood handle feels good in the hand and is the ideal length for really getting in there, the supple bristled head is the perfect combination of sturdy (let the brunch dishes sit, even old egg yolks don't stand a chance) and soft (delicate enough for glassware, porcelain, and bone china), and the ingenious galvanized hardware makes swapping out brush heads (or removing the head and using it without the handle for added torque or for cleaning hard to reach corners) effortlessly easy. Add on the sweet little looped hook on the bottom (which just so happens to be BFF's with our Birch Brush Rack) and we're officially in love. Note: We are absolutely head over heels for this sweet little brush and its brilliant interchangeable head system. While we find that even with proper upkeep the heads do occasionally need to be fully replaced we also have found ourselves keeping separate heads in active rotation. This has been particularly helpful for kitchens that share cooking and clean-up duties between vegetarians and carnivores and also for making sure that soap stays away from our beloved cast irons. Take Care: With a bit of easy maintenance, this brush can last for years. Clean the bristles with plain water or the soap of your choosing, shake out excess water, and allow brush to dry with the bristles down. Occasionally oil the wood with your preferred wood conditioner (we swear by Old Mill's All Natural Beeswax and Mineral Oil Wood Polish, available right here at The Foundry), being sure to allow enough time for the wood to absorb the oil before its next use.
