This slender, delicately curved brush has quickly become one of our favorite go-to tools for washing up. Individually hand-crafted from naturally soft and supple horsehair fibers and pretty, pale, oil treated beechwood, this brush's long, slender handle feels good in the hand. The wide curved ruff of horsehair bristles does the delicate, flexible cleaning job of those old-fashioned sponge sputnik brushes (but with none of the gnarly residual gunk or petroleum plastics). It's the perfect length and shape for cleaning everyday dishes and reaching the bottoms of delicate glasses. The horsehair bristles are the ideal firmness—sturdy enough to get lipstick off of whiskey glasses, soft enough to do so without scratching the crystal.
Take Care: With a bit of easy maintenance, this brush can last a good long while. Clean the bristles with plain water or the soap of your choosing, shake out excess water, and allow brush to dry with the bristles down. Occasionally oil the wood with your preferred wood conditioner (we swear by Old Mill's All Natural Beeswax and Mineral Oil Wood Polish, available right here at The Foundry), being sure to allow enough time for the wood to absorb the oil before its next use.
