Inspired by traditional Japanese banjyu trays, this stunning minimalist tray is beautiful, simple, and practical. Use it as a serving tray, set it on the table as a platter, or corral found objects and necessaries on all surfaces as needed. The smooth inverted sides make for easy carrying and gorgeous nesting of the graduated sizes. 17 3/4" x 12 1/2" x 1 1/3"
About the line: Named for the strait of icy-clear water that runs between Denmark and her neighbors to the north-Sweden + Norway-Skagerak is a Danish design house that has been hand-crafting exquisite, long-lasting Scandinavian furniture and gorgeous, functional home goods since 1976. A certified B corp that works with Forest Stewardship Council certified woods, Skagerak makes heirloom-quality investment pieces that are meant to be used and loved.
Take Care: We love the look of the raw oak, however, untreated wood can get thirsty. Since the oak is unsealed, we recommend wiping with a soft damp cloth to clean (instead of with furniture polish) and using a coaster. Of course, applying a thin treatment of your favorite wood conditioner (we swear by Old Mill's all-natural beeswax and mineral oil wood polish, available right here at The Foundry) will give it a little additional protection without vastly impacting the finish. Just sayin'.
