Griddle up! While this herringbone griddle pan has the look, feel, and usability of classic cast iron, it is actually finished with a specially formulated matte black enamel, making it virtually indestructible AND not quite as persnickety as our grandmother's beloved old skillets. Designed in Great Britain and sandcast in a 175 year old foundry in France, this brilliant, streamlined, griller is a stealthy workhorse glamourpuss in the best possible way. Suitable for all ranges-including induction-and designed to span two hobs (English for "burner") and heat evenly. Griddled herringbone grills and sears, with the center channel easily running precious juices down to the subtle built in pouring lips. No bacon grease left behind. With pleasing, burly, easy-to-grip handles, this is a game changer for big sunny breakfasts and grill extravaganzas alike. Cadmium, PFOA, PFTE, and Lead Free, made from up to 30% recycled materials. 17" long, 9 1/2" wide, 1" deep (exclusive of handles).
Take Care: While this stunning enameled pan can handle most abuses, to keep it slick and beautiful, we recommend treating it like you would any other enameled cookware: hand wash and dry, use wooden or plastic utensils, and avoid abrasive chemicals or bleach. And while we like to push the envelope ourselves, these Crane Cookware pieces haven't *officially* been rated for use on your open camp fire so always use extra caution!
