A true gorgeous classic. Hand-crafted in India, this new version of the heirloom is as lovely as it gets. Stunning enough to serve as a centerpiece on a sideboard or decorate a kitchen wall, this 9-inch copper-plated stainless steel colander is adorned with cast brass handles. We love it filled with fresh figs on the counter.
Take Care: This is pretty common, but a note for copper-loving-cooks: while this can (obviously) be used for workhorse tasks in the kitchen, this comes with a clear, protective coating that prevents tarnishing. If you're planning on using this for cooking (or prefer the soft gleam of bare polished copper/patina is your thing, as it is with us) the coating must be stripped off with any common lacquer remover, like nail polish remover.
