BRINS is a cajun french word that means "little bit", and these jams are the perfect little accompaniment to fresh cheeses, warm toast, and-yes-even humble peanut butter. Small-scale, organically sourced whenever possible, and vegan (they use bone char free pure cane sugar and pectin made from pure citrus peels), these are meant to spread and share. 2 1/2 oz
Tasting Notes: Spicy chili peppers are cooked down in a bath of apple cider vinegar, ginger root, garlic and a touch of lime juice. This jam has a smooth lingering spice with a kick of flavor from all sides. Savory sweet, acidic with balanced layers of spicy heat.
